Srikanth to try his luck in Malayalam movie.
Srikanth enters the Malayalam movie industry. Following the footsteps of the senior actors Prakash Raj, Sharath Kumar and Sathyaraj, Srikanth from the Tamil movie industry is ready to do his debut Malayalam movie. He will play the lead role in the sequel of the ‘Uppukandam Brothers’, a super hit Malayalam movie of 1993 directed by T.S Suresh Babu, also the Director of the sequel.
Srikanth, hailing from a Brahmin family of Chennai did his debut in the Tamil movie ‘Roja Koottam’ in 2002. The movie ‘Parthipan Kanavu’ of the same year with actress Sonia Agarwal, got many appreciations. He acted in a few Telugu movies also; with a screen name ‘Sriram’. He did his Telungu debut in ‘Okariki Okaru’.
Srikanth will play the role of ‘Bobby’, the grandson of ‘Kora’, a character played by actor Sukumaran in the original. Other actors will be Seema, Jagathy Sreekumar, Honey Rose, Vani Viswanath, Babu Antony, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Harishree Ashokan. The film is scripted by Raji Mathew and producers are Mass Reels. Alphonse will compose the songs.
Srikanth will play an important role in Shanker’s upcoming movie ‘Three Rascals’, remake of the Bollywood hit ‘Three idiots’.
