Rajini returns with movie ‘Hara’

Rajinikanth’s first and most awaited animated movie Hara is expected to blow theatres by April 2011 around the globe. The movie which was earlier named as Sulthan, the warrior is being directed and produced by the super star’s younger daughter Soundrya Rajnikanth. The name of the movie has been changed to Hara with sources saying that it will help the audiences identify Rajini’s role with that of Lord Krishna.
K.S Ravikumar, director of the big hit Dasavatharam will be the master brain behind the last 30 minutes action sequences of Hara. Music world is waiting for music maestro A.R Rehman’s songs and background scores of the animated movie Hara.
The cost of the movie Hara will be around $5 million and has been in the making for nearly four years. Rajinikanth plays the role of a warrior prince in the animated action thriller. The director also planned Rajinikanth to star as a real person in some special scenes of the movie.
The movie already faced other controversies in its early production stages. For instance, the troubles in Soundarya’s Ocher Studios and the case with Anil Ambani’s Reliance Media works can affect the summer release of the movie. Soundarya’s debut production ‘Goa’ also troubled with similar situations. Any way the super star fans around the world can expect a unique experience in Hara. The movie will be released in 12 languages during summer.
