A brilliant attempt by Kabir Khan!!!!! 'New York' has successfully exposed the wily ways of the American FBI to which hundreds of innocent muslim victims had fallen prey to post 9/11. 'New York' can easily be considered the best film to come out of the Yash Raj stable after 'Chak De India'. Kabir Khan has precisely delineated the sufferings of an innocent tortured in solitary confinement that merely soaks our eyes and also deals with the contemporary story of friendship revolving around Omar (Neil Nithin Mukesh), Sam (John Abraham) and Maya (Katrina Kaif). The audience is completely hooked from the first scene itself when Neil is arrested by FBI and interrogated by Irfan, the police officer. Further questionning swaps back to their colourful college campus and reveals Sam as a terrorist. Now Omar has to post hands with the FBI agents in reporting Sam's every move and stop his next mission.

Rest of the film is about a bonding state of emotions, friendship and heart-breaking climax. John abraham has delivered his career's best performance as Katrina Kaif has taken full advantage of it and can be marked as one of her performances.Neil Nithin Mukesh is extraordinarily mind-boggling with his gesture and emotes stunningly to every situation.Irfan is in great form. Musical score by Pritham is top-notching and Kabir Khan has well-placed every song. Cinematography is yet another embellishing factor. Its Kabir Khan’s handling of difficult script and Neil’s outstanding performance that wins laurels for this film.

Overall, this is a definitely must see film and is a collection amongst the best shows of Bollywood.
