Nayanthara turns Sita Devi in a Telgu movie.Renowned south Indian actress Nayantara gets a challenging opportunity to do the role of Sita Devi (Goddess Sita) of the epic Ramayana in a Telugu movie. The movie named as Sri Rama Rajyam is from the director Babu. The shoot will start on November 22 in the Ramakrishna cine studios of Hyderabad.

Veteran Telugu actor Balakrishna will do the lead role of Rama in Sri Rama Rajyam. The music will be composed by Ilayaraja. Screenplay and dialogues are penned by Mullapudi Venkata Ramana. P.R.K. Raju will be the cinematographer of Sri Rama Rajyam. Yalamanchili Saibabu will produce this big budget movie in Telugu.

Being a Keralite from Thiruvalla, Nayantara did her debut in the movie Manasinakkare of Sathyan Anthikkadu. And later she established herself as a leading actress in Tamil. Her Tamil debut was in the movie Ayya and did her Telugu debut in the movie Lekshmi. She has acted as a heroine with most of the superstars in the south Indian film industry. Her first Kannada movie Super is also under production work.
