Mallika buys sea-view home in Kovalam.

The glamorous Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat recently bought a small house in Kovalam, in Thiruvananthapuram. Her house is near the sea shore and it provides a wonderful view of the beach.

She recently visited Kerala’s Mannnarasala temple to offer her prayers. Her latest movie ‘Hisss’ which was released after her Kerala visit narrates the story of a snake-woman’s revenge. The movie was a good commercial hit.

Hailed from a Haryana Jat family she adopted the screen name Mallika. She has appeared in many commercials before her first noticed film ‘Khwahish’ in 2003. In 2005 she got a golden opportunity to act with the legend Jackie Chan in a Chinese movie the myth. Mallika also appeared in the south Indian hit ‘Dasavatharam’. She has worked in around 17 movies so far.

Her upcoming films are ‘Politics of Love’ and ‘Dhamal 2’. ‘Politics of Love’ is a Hollywood film in which she plays the role of an election campaigner of Barak Obama during the presidential elections of 2008. The director of her Hollywood debut is William Dear.

As per Mallika Sherawat she is a fan of the Malayalam actors Mohan Lal and Shobana and she has already fallen in love with the Gods Own Country in her first visit itself. That is why she decided to buy a house here in Kerala. She also plans to act in some south Indian movies and expressed her keen interest to act in a Malayalam movie.
