Urvashi as “Chattambi KalyaniDirector Amal Neerad’s movie ‘Anwar’ has already brought a loss of Rupees 1.5 crores, says the producer of the movie Raj Zachariah. As per him Amal Neerad had agreed to complete the whole movie in 52 days at a cost of 3 crores. But he took 78 days working from only 11 am in the morning and packing up at 6pm. Due to this, Zachariah had to spend extra money for the production.

The latest issue is that Neerad is demanding another ten lakhs for the release of Anwar’s Tamil dubbed version. The money is for releasing the movie’s tamil version through Gemini studios. The producer rejected this demand and said that he is going to file a complaint against Amal, before the South Indian producers association.

Prithviraj played the title role in Amal Neerad’s third movie Anwar. Other cast includes Mamtha Mohan Das, Lal, Prakash Raj, Nithya Das and Sai Kumar. Rafeeq Ahmad’s lyrics were composed by Gopi Sundar. Red Carpet movies released Anwar on 15th October this year.

According to Raj Zachariah Prithviraj and Prakash Raj dubbed for the Tamil version without demanding any money, as they were aware about the unfavorable situation of the producer. Amal Neerad, the director who has done three superstar oriented action movies, has not yet reacted to the producer’s allegations.
