The long anticipated dreams of Mullassery Madhavan(Janardhanan) after his marriage with Sethulakshmi(Bhavani) blossoms on hearing the good news that he is going to become a father. He put the name of the new born baby as Nandhu and Madhavan grew dreams again about the future of his son. He expects his son to become a doctor in future, but in contrary to the desires of his father Nandhu`s interest grows in the field of music.
Nandhu(Prithviraj) realises about his inability to fulfil his father`s desire and this creates desolation in the family. In this situation, there arrives an young girl called Sameera (Kavya Madhavan) from Delhi and the changes that occur in their family after her arrival forms the rest of the story.
