Samsung Galaxy tab a better buy than Apple iPad

Samsung Galaxy tablet is any day a better buy than the Apple iPad. This little gadget, only slightly bigger than a mobile phone, offers almost every thing that a tablet is expected to offer and some more. And it delivers all that working within the constraints of an Andrioid OS (yes, its true!). Not that we don’t like the Apple iPad tablet. At a mere 9.7” display and just a tad bigger than Galaxy tab, it is indeed a perfect tablet. But that is just what it is. Where as Samsung Galaxy tab goes on to break the divide between the mobile and the PC worlds, Apple iPad for the most, sticks to its own domain.

So what then is sure to keep the Apple iPad afloat in the market? Apple on its own, is a bigger brand than Samsung and the last word when it comes to computers. The Apple iPad is great to look at and has a resolution of 768x1024, which is definitely better than the Samsung Galaxy tablet. Apple iPad also has a better battery performance of 10 hours which is 3 hours more than what Samsung Galaxy tab has to offer. But in almost every other area, the Samsung Galaxy tab wins hands down.

The best part about Samsung Galaxy is that it is a crossover between a mobile and the pc. Its 2.2 Android system is proof enough. And that’s probably why the Samung Galaxy is visibly (though slightly) slower than the iPad when it comes to performance. But hey, then it does come packed with not just one, but two cameras. The one on the front is a meager 1.3 mega pixel, and the one behind is 3 whole mega pixel (plus automatic focus, plus flash!) worth of camera. This is going to prove useful considering the fact that it can be used by business users to make video calls and such. Sure it may, but you’ll have to wait for the iPad 2 and above versions.

There are other features too that makes you fall in love with this tiny little gadget- Samsung Galaxy tab. Though the screen resolution is lower, it doesn’t send out too much of a glare which makes it handy for ebook reading. Also, it has a lesser storage space but it does offer an option to expand the memory to 32 GB (Apple iPad’s maximum storage size) and beyond using the microSD slot. Samsung Galaxy tab also lets you choose your Wi-fi operators from any available networks and this is crucial since neither tables come with a network port.
