John Titus is a successful Malayalee businessman based in America. He is the president of Aero Controls Inc, a multi million dollar venture. His company Aero Controls Inc is into aviation maintenance and repair, apart from sales and leases of Aircraft spares.

Exclusively dealing with Commercial Airplanes like Boeing 737 and 747, they procure surplus parts from Airlines apart from buying used Airplanes from all over the world to dismantle them for spares. The selected parts are then reconditioned at the various facilities in Seattle, Shelton and at Miami. 70 per cent of the business of Aero Controls is concentrated on Canada and United States.

His company, Aero Controls, known as Cadillac of the industry, has a repair deal with Air France, Jordanian Airlines and Aloha Airlines, the airlines of Hawaii. He is competing with others in the field by virtue of the quality of the product. And diverse product range helps him beat the competitors fair and square. He is also actively interested in real estate business.

Quality service and diversified product range helped him to tide over competition from other giants and today his company stands amongst the top five percent in the industry.

He occupies a prominent place among the large Malayalee community living in America. Presently he holds the chair of FOKANA, Regional Working President. He is one of the members of the advisory body of World Malayalee Council.

He went to America in 1971 to study Aeronautical Technology. And after working for 10 years in 'TRAMCO', a subsidiary of BF Goodrich, as Manager of component overhaul he set out to establish his own company based on the experience accrued from there. Time has proved that it was a right decision and his company is now scaling new heights.

Apart from being a successful businessman, John Titus is also a social activist and an administrator. He is the main driving force behind many fund raising activities involving the company employees and the community. Be it for the Congressmen or for Senators, he leaves no stone unturned to make the fund raising venture a success.

A successful fund raising campaigner he has collected and distributed over $ 72,400.00 over a period of 16 years (1984-2000). He had also won several awards for his campaigns. He is also involved in other community related activities like clearing the litter from highways (Adopt-a-Highway), the activities of American Cancer Society (Relay-for-Life), for American Heart Association (American Heart Walk).

Other programs in which he is actively involved are: support for local schools (Back-Pack-Program), donation of blood (Blood-Drive-Program), adopting a family program, fulfilling the wishes of small children by giving gifts to them (Giving-Tree).

During Easter and Thanks giving day food items are collected to contribute to the hungry and less fortunate in the surrounding communities. Monetary assistance is also provided to those countries struck by some sort of disaster.
