Sibi has a typical family life. One begins to understand him when he says his greatest accomplishments in life so far has been a happy married life and two happy kids, nothing else comes even a close second.

His wife Mrs. Joice John, is the fourth daughter of Sri TA John Pampoorathu and Smt Celenamma John Kondayil. She is a postgraduate in Sociology.

A strong supporter of all social and humanitarian activities of Sibi, she is a successful mother and a social activist. An ardent artist she finds pleasure in painting and fashion designing.

The young couple has two children, Elhita Theres Madone Thampuran and Ayilya Mariam Joice Riyah Thampuran.
