  O N V Kurup now resides at Vazhuthacaud, Thiruvanathapuram with his wife   Sarojini,  son  Venugopal   and   daughter  Mayadevi.  Having  survived   the   onslaught  of changing fashions and tastes, O N V's poetry is still committed   to a fruitful fusion of tradition and modernity.
