C.K.Menon is the Director - NORKA ROOTS, a company floated by the Non-Resident Keralites’ Affairs Department of the Government of Kerala, for the welfare of Non-Resident Keralites

He is also the Director of  - Delhi Public School’s Modern Indian School, Doha, Qatar – The first DPS school in Qatar, this prestigious institution which has completed five remarkable years winning accolades as one of the best schools in this Gulf country, caters to more than 1,000 Indian students, and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

Director – The Gurukul School, Thiruvananthapuram – A new-age school that focuses on innovative methods of teaching and all-round development of the students.

Founder Partner - Sree Narayana Educational Trust School, Thrissur, Kerala.

Founder member - Audit Sankara Charitable Trust, Thrissur, Kerala.

Socio-Cultural and Charitable Activities

Patron and Director – Adarsh, a charitable trust for children with challenges, based at Tripunithura, Ernakulam district, Kerala. Adarsh aims for the rehabilitation of differently disabled children, i.e. those with brain damage, having symptoms of cerebral palsy (CP) and other sensory-motor childhood developmental disorders.

Today the school has on its rolls over 70 children belonging to all religions and communities.

    1. Patron – Thrissur Jilla Souhrida Vedi, a prominent forum of Keralite expatriates from Thrissur district, engaged in socio-cultural, charitable and philanthropic activities aimed at the welfare of Keralite expatriates in Doha, Qatar, apart from supporting needy brethren living in Kerala. If a member of the forum dies, his family will receive Rs 2, 00,000, and if one is terminally ill, he is eligible for an aid of Rs 50,000.
    2. Patron – Qatar Malayalee Samajam, affiliated to the Indian Cultural Centre, Embassy of India, Doha, Qatar. One of the oldest forums of Keralite expatriates in Qatar, the Samajam is the focal point of a host of activities of the community, mainly socio-cultural events, and bringing together community members cutting across religious differences.
    3. Patron – Kerala Social and Cultural Association, affiliated to the Indian Cultural Centre, Embassy of India, Doha, Qatar. Though established only in October 2004, this forum has actively engaged in the fields of charitable activities, art and culture.

    Life Time Member

    1. Indian Cultural Centre, Doha, Qatar - ICC is the official body of Indian expatriate community functioning under the patronage of Indian Embassy for the purpose of advancement of the cultural, social and sports interests of the Indian community in Qatar. ICC also provides a common platform for various Indian community associations - reflecting unity in diversity for the 1, 80,000 Indians residing in Qatar. This Cultural body is also committed to promote the rich Indian nationalities living in Qatar. It also functions in coordination with the Indian Embassy to strengthen the deep-rooted Indo-Qatar friendship and cultural relationship. The membership of the ICC is open to all the Indian nationals residing in Qatar. More than 60 socio-cultural organizations of Indian community have been affiliated to ICC and thereby ICC acts an umbrella organization for these outfits.
    2. Indian Community Benevolent Fund - A voluntary organization set up to ameliorate the sufferings of unfortunate Indians who fall victims to circumstances beyond their control. Established in 1988 by some of the prominent and well-to-do members of the Indian community under the umbrella of the Embassy, the Fund has been administered and run by the Community. It provides relief and financial assistance in appropriate cases to the deserving Indians in distress.
    3. Advisory Board Member - Indian Cultural and Arts Society, affiliated to the Indian Cultural Centre, Embassy of India, Doha, Qatar – Another prominent forum of Keralite expatriates, rendering all kinds of assistance to community members.
