Bobby Aloysius was born to Kariyilakulam family at Chempery, Kannur on 18-05-1974 as the daughter of MV Aloysius, a high school teacher by profession and Marykutty, a devout housewife.

A graduate of Sociology from Vimala College, Thrissur, she took post-graduation in Sociology from Annamalai University.

Currently, she is working as customs preventive officer in Chennai. She is married to Shajan Scaria, Sub Editor, Deepika, Kottayam. Bobby's sister is Bindu Aloysius.

Current activities: Professional sports person. Maintaining National and South Asian record plus championship since 1995.

Areas of interest: Active sports, sports training and sports administration.
