Dr
AV Anoop was born to (Late) Sri AG Vasavan and Smt Lilly Bai at
Thrissur (Kerala) on 30 April 1962. He is the only son of the
couple who has two more daughters.
He
had his schooling in St Joseph's Higher Secondary School, Thiruvananthapuram,
and collegiate education in Mahatma Gandhi College, Trivandrum
from where he graduated in Commerce in 1982.
Realising
the importance of remaining knowledgeable, he continued his scholastic
pursuits to become Doctor of Philosophy - Ph.D. The scholastic
pursuit for him is an on going continuous activity.
Soon
after his graduation, he was offered a secure Government Job on
account of the sudden demise of his father, in 1981, while in
service. However, after considering various options, he took the
bold decision of plunging into business by joining-up with his
maternal uncle Dr VP Sidhan in 1983. It is Dr AV Anoop who represents
the company among other manufacturers.
Dr
A V Anoop is a keen proponent of Ayurveda. He believes in living
in the present with full faith & belief in the past with vision
for the future. A keen sportsman himself, he continues to take
part in club level Badminton competitions and also promotes sporting
activities.
A
keen stage & screen enthusiast and a natural, born actor with
fondness for Malayalam Literature, he had acted in various amateur
theatricals on stage in Chennai and has so far acted in 12 TV
serials including 'Swantam-Malooti', 'Anweshanam', 'Paying Guest'
and 'Deepam'.
Dr
A V Anoop makes full use of the 24 hrs available in a day and
is fully engaged in all the constructive & productive activities
of Chennai Malayalees. He is fully involved in all the Social,
Educational, Cultural, Philanthropic, and sporting activities
of Chennai Malayalees.
