Janasakthi
In 1994, Alphons founded a voluntary organisation to raise consciousness of the country towards five fundamental problems it encountered like corruption, illiteracy, population explosion, environmental degradation, and electoral malpractices.Its apex council consists of prominent persons apart from people on the streets. Janasakthi has taken up many projects for the welfare of the slum-dwellers in New Delhi and it is regarded as one of the best slum projects in the country.
Making a difference
Alphons has written a book based on his experiences, 'Making a difference'. He tries to elucidate his thoughts, desperation's, and hopes about the country. While trying to give an outline about the positions he held he is empathic in proving that nothing is impossible if we had the will and commitment.
