Pinarayi should face legal proceedings in Lavlin case, says Chandrappan
Pinarayi should face legal proceedings says Chandrappan. CPI (M) state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan should face the legal proceedings in Lavlin case like other communist leaders T.V. Thomas and M.N. Govindan Nair did, when they were in the similar situations. These leaders were acquitted after the investigation and court proceedings. Pinarayi should follow the seniors, says C.K Chandrappan the state secretary of CPI.
Chandrappan responded to Pinarayi’s allegations which include the comments related to Chandrappan’s slant towards the congress party and his limited knowledge about the state. Chandrappan said that he had supported the former UPA government to prevent community-oriented parties from being in power and also stated that at the time CPM members had also supported him.
Chandrappan said that he met Vijayan for the first time during the time of their campus politics in Kerala. He further said that he has been an MP representing Kerala three times over and that he is very much aware about the state.
Both the leaders are geared up for an open fight on the Lavalin issue. However Pinarayi Vijayan has still not responded to Chandrappan’s comments about the Lavalin case.
