Condition of Azhikode worsens, says medial bulletin

The condition of veteran writer, critic and orator Dr Sukumar Azhikode, who was admitted to the Amala Hospital in the district since December 9, has worsened, said the medical bulletin on Monday.

A medical team led by Dr T Gopinath is observing him. A sudden drop and rise in his blood pressure was witnessed on Sunday. The medical bulletin today said his blood pressure has dropped a bit. With his health deteriorating, he has been put under life-supporting system.

People from all walks of life, including Chief Minister Oommen Chandy visited him on Sunday.
