Baby found abandoned to starve and die
Sending shock waves all over the State,a 2 1/2 year old baby girl was found abandoned to starve and die in a locked room of a house near Kollam.
When the people forcefully opened the door the little kid was in debilitated condition nearly breathing her last.
Ants and insects had started devouring her body when people discovered her .
The lips and other tender parts of the baby's organs were damaged as the insects and ants were feeding on them.
The feeble and fragile puny little corporeal frame was literally starving to death.
The baby was immediately rushed to the hospital by the local people with the assistance of Police.
Hospital authorities stated that she would recover in a few days and there is nothing to panic.
The little baby was found just hours before in a very critical situation, with severe injuries in its hands and burnt marks in the legs. The baby was seen tied with a rope around its waist.
The baby, Remya mol is the daughter of Susheela, the first wife of Rajan. With alleged pressures from Rajan’s side, the mother was compelled to leave behind the baby. As soon as the people rescued the baby, the mother was asked to feed it. Little Remya was seen sucking vigorously out of abject hunger.
The Police say that as soon as the baby recovers its health, it would soon be handed over to the Shishu Kshema Samithi and not to those merciless parents.
