 Keerthy Ramachandran

PanniyanRaveendran, leading Politician of Kerala

I am a regular delegate at the IFFK. I can’t afford to miss such great experience. Until now, I have watched three movies, amongst them “Machuka” is my favourite one. With excellent picturisation, it’s a quality cinema worth watching, while a movie that I saw yesterday, “A Day in Orange” is more of a rotten orange, hopeless. Still, that is the spice of this festival, there can be fresh oranges at the same time some may be rotten. Films are like those oranges, some may be fresh and good, while the others rotten and disgusting!

P.T KunjuMuhammed, Leading TV host and film maker

I am not here with high expectations. I don’t find any difference between other International Film Festivals and the IFFK. In fact I am here to watch films which I never want to make. Film Festivals teach me which are the kind of films one should never make. This is why I am here every year at the IFFK.

Lenin Rajendran, Prominent Director

Yesterday, with the first screening of my film “Makaramanju” [ Mist of Capricon] at IFFK, I have been receiving good response from my audience in the form of calls and SMS. The casting of my film that had gained the highlight attraction was also received well. SanthoshShivan is an asset to the film industry as an actor also. Karthika, the new face has also done complete justice to her character.

VikramadityaMotwardhane, Young director of one of the widely acclaimed film at IFFK, “Udaan”

“Udaan” was my debut feature film, to getsuch huge appreciation from the audience at IFFK is really wonderful. As the movie has a complete casting of new comers, we had intensive workshops with the boys acting in the film, and all of them had done a great job. It’s not that I was trying to give a message to the youth with the film, “Udaan” is more of an inspiring force to them, that opens an angst driven youth to expore their lives without losing optimism, and I hope they have taken it well.

Bhagyalakshmi, National Award Winning dubbing Artist

For the past 9 years, I have been working as a member at the Jury of Chalachitra Academy. The response that we have been getting from people all across the country is that, IFFK has beaten even the International Film Festival of India at Goa. To be a part of such a venture for over these years is a matter of deep pride.
