Optical illusion: One of the very low opinion-raising films at IFFK

By  Shan

The third day of the 15th edition of IFFK-2010 witnessed some of the finest films screened in the competition section. The film “Optical Illusion”directed by Christian Jimenez is a satire on the extraordinary events which are actually the deviation of straight happenings.

The life is straight but the derailment which brings tremendous turning to the life is what matters most. The visually challenged man whose vision was later corrected finds that the new life he has posed him new challenges .The lady working in a surgical is desperate to do breast implantation which finally proves unsuccessful. The security guard at the mall falls in love to a married woman who used him to the dregs. The old man who was a hard working employee was demoted by the management. The film is about the life which is a sort of an optical illusion. Vision may appear real but truly it’s apparent.

Yet, this was one movie which brought very low opinions in the audience. Very few came out of theatres satisfied with Optical illusion.
