The film is an autobiographical extract from the work of the renowned author Pawel Jesinica. Set in 1968 it deals with the political aggression which started off as an anti- semitic campaign by the government of Poland due to Israel’s triumph over Egypt.
The movie revolves around the central character Rose, who is made to spy on a jew teacher by her own fiancé. Soon all the sincere love she fails to receive from the latter, she gets it boundlessly from the teacher and finally she ties the wedlock with him to soon discover a tragic consequence. The movie beautifully elucidates a brutal love triangle between the three key characters, Kamila ( Little Rose), Rozek and Adam.
‘”The most startling feature of the film is its wholesome climax” says a student delegate from the Institute of Journalism, Trivandrum. The movie kicked off beautifully to the array of much expecting films at Kairali in the coming days.
