The inaugural film ‘Please Don’t Disturb’ was screened at the Nishagandhi open auditorium soon after the inaugural ceremony by 7 30 in the evening. Several hundred thronged the amphitheatres, many of them without any seats, still enjoying watching one of the best films of the 15th IFFK.The director, Mohsen Abdolvahab and the producer of the movie was present for the screening. ‘Please Don’t Disturb” is the debut movie of Mohsen that has won numerous accolades in various international film festivals.
The film that has interwoven three short films beautifully to strike a lasting chord, was really a worth watching film to so many. The story of a housewife, a mullah and a mechanic all quite unknowingly try to disentangle the narrow lines of human values, convictions and compromise that tie the complicated knots of human life.
