The concluding ceremony of IFFK hosted the distribution of awards, the ‘Suvarna Chakoram’ or Golden Crow Pheasant went to ‘Portraits In a Sea of Lies’. The ‘Rajata Chakoram’ or the Silver Crow Pheasant award for best direction went to Julia Solomonoff for ‘The Last Summer of La Boyita’.

Netpac Award for Indian category went to ‘Veettilekkulla Vazhi' by Dr. Biju. Hassan Kutty award was bagged by ‘Chitra suthram’ with Vipin Vijay as the best director. FIPRESCI Award for Malayalam movie was bagged by ‘Makaramaju’. The Audience Choice award went to ‘The Japanese Wife’.

Minister M.A Baby awarded the Golden Crow Pheasant to the winning films. The concluding ceremony of the 15th IFFK was conducted in the Nishagandhi Auditorium today. In a week’s span, the festival had managed to screen 203 films from 83 countries in theatres around Trivandrum city. The award ceremony will commenced at 6.00pm and Mani Ratnam and his wife Suhasini Mani are among the Chief Guests at the functions.
